We are honored to present a short video of the event - "HEYDAR ALIYEV'S LEGACY: Development Era of the Port of Baku", commemorating the 100th anniversary of the esteemed National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Director General of the Port of Baku Taleh Ziyadov, speaking at a ceremony at the Marine Station, one of the first buildings built in Baku on the initiative of great leader Heydar Aliyev, spoke about the invaluable services of great leader Heydar Aliyev in the reconstruction and development of the Port of Baku and that his eternal legacy will always live in the activities of the Baku port: If today the Baku port is recognized internationally, noting that the foundation of this development was laid by the great leader Heydar Aliyev back in the 20th century, the Director General noted, that this political line was successfully continued by the head of the country, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

At the event held within the framework of partnership with the State Maritime and Port Agency, the Chairman of the Agency Arif Mammadov also spoke about the invaluable work of the great leader in building port and maritime services at the most modern level. In addition, MP Nigar Arpadarai, former head of the Baku Sea Station Fikrat Teymurov and Rafael Mirkulamov shared their memories of Heydar Aliyev.

This film, prepared by the Port of Baku on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, shows the immense services of the Great Leader in the reconstruction and development of the Port of Baku based on facts and unique footages, many of which were showed for the first time.

The participants were also familiarized with the exhibition of unique photographs presented by the Port of Baku, the State Maritime and Port Agency.
