The participants of the 42nd meeting of the BSEC URTA General Assembly visited the Port of Baku

The participants of the 42nd meeting of the General Assembly of the BSEC-URTA (International Automobile Carriers Association of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization) held in Baku today visited the Port of Baku. The delegation was headed by Mr. Habib Hasanov, President of the Azerbaijan International Association of Car Carriers and Mr. Umberto De Pretto, Secretary General of the IRU - World Transport Road Organization.

During the meeting, the chief operations officer of the Port of Baku, Eugene Seah, informed the guests about the innovations applied to increase the efficiency of operations in the Port of Baku, the steps taken to implement the green logistics hub, and infrastructure projects.

The guests directly observed the cargo transportation capabilities in the Port of Baku and the work process at the terminals.
