The Port of Baku is represented at the SPECA exhibition organized in the Baku Expo Center
The Port of Baku participates in the exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of SPECA, the United Nations special program for the economies of Central Asian countries, and the national economies of SPECA member countries. The purpose of the exhibition held at the Baku Expo Center on November 22-25 is to demonstrate the economic potential of the participating countries, discuss opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation, and strengthen regional economic cooperation between member states. The guests participating in the exhibition can obtain information about the strategic, historical and economic importance of the Port of Baku, as well as the works done and infrastructure projects.
It should be noted that SPECA, a special program for the economy of Central Asian countries, established by the UN in 1998, includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
