An event dedicated to International Human Rights Day took place in the Baku Marine Station
An event dedicated to International Human Rights Day was held today at the Baku Marine Station. The event featured speeches by Ms. Vladanka Andreeva, Resident Coordinator of the UN, Mr. Aydın Salifkhanli, Head of Aparatus of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Mahammad Guluzade, Chairman of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, and Mr. Zaur Aliyev, Dean of the Law Faculty at Baku State University.
The event also included a play and a musical performance that addressed human rights issues. Towards the end of the event, an award ceremony was held to recognize outstanding articles by journalists and children's drawings related to human rights.
