The following tree planting ceremony called “Green Port” was held in the Port of Baku, within the framework of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”. Within the framework of the ceremony, which was attended by Taleh Ziyadov, Director-General of the Port of Baku, Yunus Yilmaz, General-Manager of Albayrak Construction Company, and port employees, each individual planted trees suitable for the soil and climate conditions of the area and attached a small plaque made of an eco-friendly material with their name on the tree. The main goal of the environmental ceremony, in which the port employees are involved, is to promote environmental protection and achieve its development.

It should be noted that, the Port of Baku, which was awarded the Port Environmental Review System (PERS) - “Eco-Port” certificate by the European Sea Ports Organization (ESPO), always pays close attention to issues relating to environmental protection.
