A tree-planting campaign was jointly held with the Azerbaijan branch of the Institute of Internal Auditors in the area of the Port of Baku
Within the framework of the "Green World Solidarity Year” and COP29, a tree planting campaign was held in the Port of Baku with the participation of members from the Azerbaijan Branch of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA Azerbaijan Chapter), and with the support of AccessBank. The main goal of the campaign that took place in the settlement of Alat and within the area of the Port of Baku, is to enhance the environment and contribute to ecological sustainability. Within the framework of the campaign, 170 olive and pine trees were planted in the area of the port.
It should be noted that based on the environmental protection and development strategy of the Port of Baku, more than 50 thousand trees have already been planted in the port area and in the settlement of Alat.
