The Port of Baku participated in the second day of the Baku Climate Action Week
On the second day of the Baku Climate Action Week held between September 30 - October 4, the Port of Baku’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Eugene Seah, participated in the session on "Climate-Resilient Infrastructure and Transportation”. He gave information about the strategy of reducing carbon emissions to zero in port operations, the "Green Port" concept, as well as port infrastructure.
It should be noted that this session of the event was dedicated to representatives of the logistics and freight transportation sector, leading the way in addressing global challenges, as well as creating a decarbonized and sustainable society within the framework of the Paris Agreement and Azerbaijan's goals in combating climate change.
