Port of Baku Participates in the 12th Annual High-Level Meeting of "Caring for Climate" at COP29
As a member of the UN Global Compact, the Port of Baku has been represented at the 12th Annual High-Level Meeting of "Caring for Climate" at COP29 chaired by United Nations Assistant Secretary-General H.E. Sanda Ojiambo. Dr. Taleh Ziyadov, Director General of the Port of Baku, joined the executives of the leading companies to address critical climate finance challenges and align financial flows with global climate goals.
Dr. Ziyadov and Madam Ojiambo reconnected to discuss the Port’s recent membership in the UN Ocean Stewardship Coalition and its contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals.
