A temporary parking area has been opened for trucks carrying hazardous cargo at the Port of Baku.
A temporary truck parking area measuring 3,200 square meters has been put into operation within the territory of the Port of Baku, managed by ADY. This area can accommodate a total of seven trucks carrying hazardous cargo. The parking zone includes two spaces designated for first-category hazardous materials and five spaces for second- and third-category hazardous materials.
The area is secured 24/7 and equipped with firefighting communication lines and hydrants. Additionally, necessary tools are available to take preventive measures in case of hazardous cargo spills. The parking area is also marked with appropriate signs reflecting the safety regulations for handling hazardous materials.
It should be noted that the temporary area designated for hazardous cargo, along with the existing infrastructure, is planned to be further expanded and developed in the future.
