The park built in the Alat settlement of Garadagh region within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" and on the occasion of the National Liberation Day of June 15 was given to the residents of the settlement.

The "Alat Eco Park" is located at 23 martyr Eduard Imanov Street. The area of the park is 1176 square meters. Favorable conditions have been created here for the development of children of all age groups, a football field, various sports facilities, and playgrounds have been built so that young people can spend their free time effectively and engage in systematic sports. 10 solar panels have been installed to illuminate the area, and 2 chat rooms are being built. 
As part of the works, the asphalt covering in the yard surrounding the buildings has been renewed. The park was paved with lawn and paving stones, a new fence was built, and a 162-meter-long bicycle lane was built. 

In addition to the restoration of the existing greenery in the area where landscaping works are carried out, various types of evergreen trees and flower bushes were planted.
The facades of the buildings were overhauled in accordance to the project developed with the support of the Garadag District Executive Authority. 
Taleh Ziyadov, Director-General of the "Baku International Sea Trade Port" CJSC, Suleyman Mikayilov, Head of the Garadagh District Executive Authority, and public representatives took part in the opening of the park.

It should be noted that "Baku International Sea Trade Port" CJSC (Port of Baku) implements various social projects and events in the Alat settlement of Garadagh district within the framework of "Environmental, social and corporate management program".
