Port of Baku is being represented at "Uniting Business Europe" Conference
Port of Baku joins the Azerbaijani delegation at the "Uniting Business Europe" conference organized by UN Global Compact in Tbilisi. The event took place on October 9, 2023, and brought together prominent leaders from 30 European countries. With over 250 participants representing government, business, and sustainability sectors. The conference focused on the private sector's role in advancing the SDGs and global trends for a sustainable future.
Notably, the Port of Baku has become the first public organization in Azerbaijan to join the UN Global Compact on August 2, 2022. Their commitment is aimed at contributing to the achievement of 11 out of the 17 SDGs validated by the UN system.
