The first meetings of the working group and the general meeting of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) International Association this year were held in Türkiye


The high-level meeting outlined the results and development opportunities of the TITR. In addition, the report for 2023 was presented to the attention of the meeting participants, highlighting last year’s progress with 2.7 million tons of cargo transportation along the route, which means an increase of 86% compared to 2022. 

 

The meeting members, also attended by the Port of Baku’s leadership, approved the new composition of the Association Council, including the plan for prospects to increase the cargo volume along the TITR route throughout 2024. Furthermore, current matters related to digitalization, sustainability and expansion of mutual cooperation to foster efficient cargo transshipments were conversed.
