The ceremony of cutting the first steel plate of the dredging vessel named "Engineer Soltan Kazimov" that is to be built for the Port of Baku took place at the Baku Shipyard

Today, the ceremony of cutting the first steel plate of the dredging vessel named "Engineer Soltan Kazimov" that is to be built for the Port of Baku took place at the Shipyard.

 

At the event, Taleh Ziyadov, the Director-General of the Port of Baku, and Elshad Nuriyev, the Chairman of the Board of the Baku Shipyard, pressed the button indicating the cutting of the steel plate. The ship, distinguished by its unique functionality, is planned to have a length of 61 meters, a width of 10 meters, and a dredging depth of 18 meters.

 

The dredging vessel will help to carry out operations in a more free and unhindered manner for the ships that will dock at the Port of Baku during international cargo transportation and will fully ensure access and exit.
